LETS X CHRISTMAS!

The only thing i have in common with religion is Christmas, which ones again reminds me why i don't like religion. Christmas forces you to spend money you don't have, make you feel like shit if you're not able to please everyone, someone always ends up alone, and anyway/anyhow you actually want to spend the day you are committed to spending the day traditionally.
Some of you are probably thinking "then don't?" Well, then think about the feeling and the conscience you would have if you didn't...
Exactly!
It's not that i don't want to be with my family, it's everyone's expectations to this day that actually kills the meaning of the day. If we were to unconsciously skip the date one year and just do the same thing some random weekend everyone would be suuuper happy about the gifts, in whatever shape and condition, and hopefully no one would get drunk. And i could do exactly the same thing the next weekend with my other parent without unsettling about where to go where at the same date. And the odds of everyone remembering that day with a nice cosy feeling would probably be a bit higher. I get a nice feeling about writing it, but unfortunately it's emotionally not possible. We could probably try, but i guess that Christmas feeling/conscience is stuck for life.
I don' like religion because i don't like having someone/something deciding or controlling my opinions or choices in life, i'm more of a realistic person who believes in what my emotions can smell, touch or feel. So i think it's ironic that the only little thing i have in common with religion makes me feel like crap and proves exactly my point against it!

JESUS WAS A WOMAN!

..At least in today's photo-shoot!
A disgusting and fascinating job. This was a version of Jesus and his 12 disciples last meal with 10 women and two men. They all got big hair with strong shapes and wires twisted in and through the hairdos, and on top of that we had to put stinking/dripping big and small real fishes in their hair. Try and imagine 12 disciples with dead, original, natural fishes in their hair in the same room... kind of smelly! The ones with the biggest fishes had fishjuice in all of their hair. The men had the same makeup and nails as the girls. Good people!
I'll show you the photo's when i get them.

Here you can see Lene, my colleague and the one in charge for today, with one of the male models.
I guess she got comfortable with the fishes!
The men had smaller hair then the girls.

ANDROGYNOUS CONSERVATIVE HIPPIE!

That's the easiest way i could find to explain it!
This kind of makeup is really nice to wear as day-makeup. It looks natural and interesting at the same time. I think the trick is to work very soft -no hard lines and heavy shadows, but still work in contrast, and don't use anything shiny. And instead of concentrating the shadows too much, try to keep it transparent. If you want a stronger expression but with the same feeling you can work the eyebrows darker, and put some color on the lips, maybe even a thin liner.

In this photo you can say that the colors are black and white but transparent, if they weren't the contrast would be too hard and you would loose the feeling of what you are trying to accomplish.

More lips and brows.

This is a nice combination. As you can see the darkest shadow is more concentrated then in the other photos,  it can work if you keep the shadow in a small shape and use a white liner to open the eye.

FAVORITE OF THE MONTH!

NEW All Soft Argan-6 Oil with omega-6 enriched argan oil envelops hair in concentrated softness, nourishment, and protection to intensely nourish dry, brittle hair.

This one luxurious oil has six amazing uses for achieving silky softness: before you shampoo to moisturize, before you blow-dry to protect, after you blow-dry to smooth, on dry hair to enhance shine, added to treatments to soften or overnight to recondition.

I Absolutely LOVE it! I can put alot of it in my hair, and it just does not get greasy.. even if i try!

AMERICAN CREW

Here you can see some photos from American Crew's male haircut course.
They showed us some very cool cutter and knife techniques before we repeated the it in the workshop.
