LINGUAL BRACES!

There are so many people that don't know about this method, so i thought i would tell you about it.

Lingual braces are attached to the back side of the teeth, which makes them completely non-visible. This advanced method makes lingual orthodontics particularly well-suited for adults, who often want to improve the look and function of their teeth without letting anyone else know about their treatment.

Compared to standard braces, lingual braces have the following advantages and disadvantages: The brackets are cemented onto the backside of the teeth. The metal work is invisible, hence are a cosmetic alternative to standard braces. The brackets have to be custom made as back side of each tooth is unique in its shape. Lingual braces are only suitable for adults and teens who can wear braces on the front of their teeth while it is not suitable for people with very small teeth or with certain bites. Expect lengthy and more difficult adjustment time. Lingual braces are more expensive. Not all orthodontists are trained in fitting in lingual braces. But in Norway you can find one at Colosseumklinikken at Majorstua. If you're not from Norway, google it!

I have lingual braces and i am very pleased, the only thing that's a problem at the beginning is talking and eating! I recommend not having braces on both up and down at the same time!

  1. Thanks a lot for sharing this, mate. I'm being told by my Dentist In Mulund West to get braces and I was thinking of going with Lingual Braces in Mumbai but I'm lucky to have come across yur blog post, as you've mentioned not to get the upper and lower braces at the same time. Would it be too troublesome if I get braces all at once?
